Art

In room 13, we have been working on tree art. We have had to practice very hard at drawing the branches. Miss Joyce divided our paper into four quarters and then showed us how to plan using a pencil and small dots for where we want the branches to be. Once we had practised in newsprint, we were ready to draw the tree on our good paper. From there, we blended green and yellow paint for the grass, and filled in the lines of the tree with vivid. We then chose whether we wanted to show Autumn or Spring in our artwork. Autumn leaves are shown using puzzle pieces painted in autumn colours, and the cherry blossom is made using pink and white dots of paint.
